Burn's Night 2007 Kyiv Lions Club has organized the annual Burns Night charity event with Hankey Bannister support. 24 February, the Column hall of Kiev Mayor's office, the 11th annual event, devoted to great Scottish poet Robert Burns took place. The main event's goal was to implement the charity funds for the Lions Club charity fund to help those who require. There were more than 415 honorable guests at the event - top-managers of the large companies, diplomats and politicians. The event's key stages organization, and also, its PR-support was provided by Pulse agency. Pulse team has made the Queen of the Great Britain presence possible, to be exact, her official Double. The Queen has lead the event's opening ceremony accompanied by the world-famous Scottish piper Roderick Deans, who also attended Kyiv due to Pulse invitation. The event's program also included the Scottish dances, traditional Haggis ceremony and famous Scotch Hankey Bannister Whisky. After the event's official part the concert of Tina Carol and the Tribute of Tom Jones has been held. The performers have sung world famous hits and pleased public with improvisations. DJ Pasha, The Lions Club permanent entertainer appeared in a role of a presenter, a moderator-auctioneer and MC. The sum of money that organizers managed to assign for the charity purposes has reached nearby $140 thousand. During the event, the charity Auction was held, due to which it become possible to enable about $ 60 thousand for the Lions Club Charity Fund. There were companies-participants’ product samples, and also their image materials sold. What's On magazine cover has become the most expensive lot – it’s selling allowed to adopt the sum of $16 thousand in the charity program development. We hope this event was unforgettable for you.
